Breathtaking Monumental Sculpture At Jupiter Artland

Just outside Edinburgh and set in the grounds of Bonnington House, Jupiter Artland is a breathtaking sculpture park that features the works of many internationally acclaimed contemporary artists and sculptors.

Spanning over one hundred acres of formal gardens, fields and woodlands – Jupiter Artland was founded by art collectors Robert and Nicky Wilson in 1999. Each of the unique pieces at Jupiter Artland has been specially commissioned and constructed in situ – reflecting the distinctive and changeable characteristics of their natural surroundings. Here, forms natural and man-made, delicate and monumental coincide – with every turn affording a magnificent view, and no end of artistic inspiration.

Highlights include works by Andy Goldsworthy, Scottish artist Jim Lambie, Marc Quinn, Antony Gormley and Anish Kapoor. Now a charitable foundation, Jupiter Artland offers access to educational programmes for schools, together with a yearly artists’ residency. The park is open from 10am to 5pm daily, and will re-open for the Summer season, from May to September 2016.
