Stockholm has emerged to become one of Sweden's foremost arena cities, with a number of arenas functioning as event venues, concert halls, sports stadiums and fair grounds.

So whether you want to watch the Swedish football team play a game, visit international fairs or experience a concert with some of the world’s biggest stars, you are in the right city.

Friends Arena

Friends Arena is Sweden's national arena and one of the world’s most modern arenas and is by far the most flexible in the country. Thanks to a clear view from all seats, the latest communication technology, a retractable roof and excellent support services, all guests experience great moments here. The arena, which is home to the national men’s football team, has clearly raised the bar when it comes to sports arenas.

Stockholm Globe Arenas

Stockholm Globe Arenas have the operational responsibility of 5 arenas; the Ericsson Globe, Annexet, Hovet, Söderstadion and Tele2 Arena. Here you can catch sports events like football and ice hockey games, concerts, musicals and live TV shows. The arenas have a total capacity to hold up to 75,000 visitors. World-famous artists such as Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Avicii and Rihanna visit these arenas almost every year. The Stockholm Globe Arenas also operate the attraction SkyView. Here, two gondolas take you to the top of the world’s largest spherical building, the Ericsson Globe, and gives you a fantastic view encompassing all of Stockholm.

Stay at the centrally located Radisson Collection Hotel, Strand Stockholm and have an easy ride to the Globe Arenas. Take the blue metro line from the King’s Garden, called Kungsträdgården, which is located only a few minutes from the hotel and get off at Globen subway station. The Friends Arena can be reached by taking the blue metro line to Solna Centrum or by bus to Solna Station or Arenan bus stop.
